Garden City, NY: Doubleday, Page & Company, 1922. First Edition. 12mo; 26 & 23pp. Tan boards stamped in dark brown. Lacks dust jacket. Rebacked with slightly lighter paper over spine. Boards rubbed at corners and edges, with some toning, scratching, and smudging to surface. Hinge cracked at front of the Adams side with pages opening easily to after the first gathering, with a bit of a gap showing down gutter. Previous owner's name on Parker-side free endpaper. Tiny closed tear at fore-edge of Parker's title page and a few corners shallowly dog-eared, but pages all unmarked and legible. Binding is holding soundly.
Parker's first book, bound tête-bêche and published with her fellow Algonquin Roundtable-mate Franklin Pierce Adams.
