Note: Our online inventory is stored and managed at a separate location from our brick and mortar shop. If you have a question about an item listed online, please send an email rather than calling the store so that we can make sure someone familiar with the item in question can respond

Selling/Donating Books to us:

We take donations several times a week. We have a 4 box limit per visit, and you may come and drop off your books on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesday between 4pm and 6pm. No exceptions - please do not come outside of those times. If you have any other questions, email us at info@capitolhillbooks-dc.com for details or more info.

We also purchase book collections and rare or collectible books. If you have something you'd like to sell to us, send us an email with more info, and, ideally, some photos, and we will take a look and let you know if they are of interest. Please email us ahead of time as we do not purchase books from walk-in customers without a prior appointment.
