Large octavo. 280 pp. 12 full color illustrations glossy on printed side only; numerous black and white in-text illustrations. Illustrated dust jacket with titles on flaps listed to "Captain Salt." Dark blue cloth stamped in black.

Price-clipped dust jacket chipped along edges with general spotting and rubbing. Long tear to bottom front quarter of front panel, arcing from front flap to center of bottom edge; short closed tear at center of spine. Boards show light edgewear, a little heavier at corners. Front board gives slightly, but overall binding sound. Pages toned but unmarked.

Nineteenth volume in the Oz book series, featuring Mombi, the former Wicked Witch of the North, and her search to find Pastoria, former king of Oz. Dorothy and Kabumpo also feature prominently.
