Slim octavo; publisher's cloth-backed paper-covered boards, pictorial upper cover stamped in black and gilt, housed in custom cloth slipcase; 47pp.; silhouette of Markham signed by the artist (not quite legible), final three leaves of text printed in facsimile manuscript. Boards a shade toned along margins, corners gently bumped, else Very Good or better overall. Signed by contributor Anna Catherine Markham on p. 41. Also with lengthy signed inscription by Edwin Markham himself on front free endpaper reproducing a four-line stanza from the poem "Virgilia."
