Boards show light edgewear with heavier bumping at spine ends; spine a touch toned. Separation at tops of spines, but bindings holding soundly. First volumes half title cleanly torn and separating along top half of gutter, but still holding by bottom. All volumes open flatly between gatherings, but bindings are secure. Ownership inscriptions to preliminaries and some marginalia in pen and pencil, largely confined to first half of volume I and second half of volume II, else pages unmarked and legible throughout.
