Boards slightly warped, minor shelf wear to spine ends and corners, else Very Good or better, internally fine and bright.
One of a series of instructional catalogs issued by the Swiss dye company, though the preface explains that "We cannot however strictly guarantee the statements of the tables, as the requirements re. fastness etc., vary too much according to the branch of industry." The opening leaves list twelve different instructions in cotton dyeing, though the bulk of the volume organized into tables separated by the dye samples. These are subdivided into various classes, beginning with the "Direct Colours," and followed by "Formic," "Diazotizing," "Nitrophenyl," "Eclipse," and "Basic."
