Two hand-colored frontispieces, plate of Tauk Kisra, eight in-text woodcuts, and folding map of the author's route from Bussorah to Kizliar on the Borders of the Desert of Astrakhan with route in red. Bound in recent red boards with new endpapers. Very slightly ex-library with only institutional markings being stamps to edges of text block.

Boards show light bumping and binding is sound. Pages very lightly foxed and smudged, but overall clean and unmarked.
