Red cloth stamped in gilt; two volumes with top edges gilt. No dust jackets. Brief exposure and minor fraying to extremities of boards; spines a bit toned; minor scuffing and smudging. Bindings sound. Touch of toning to interiors else unmarked. Overall a Very Good set featuring the writer and literary patron's classic bookplate.
