Octavo; publisher's pale green cloth, upper cover and spine lettered in red; [10],414,[4]pp.; frontispiece, four leaves of plates printed in sepia (collated complete). Cloth rather rubbed at extremities with shallow damage along top edges and spine crown from biopredaiton, boards a bit soiled, spine faded, front hinge cracked and crudely recased; overall a Good or better copy only, though contents remain clean and sound.
