Popular hagiography of the Jesuit priest Saint Ignatius of Loyola. First published in 1682 the work went through many editions, this the first to be published by the Veuve Marie-Jeanne Bordelet whose Parisian publishing arm appears to have had a rather anemic but relatively varied output over the course of twenty years, specializing in Jesuit works and popular tragedies.
