Tan cloth spine with illustrations mounted to front and rear. No dust jacket. Light edgewear to edges with exposure; general soiling. Toning to endpapers; several illustrations colored in in a juvenile manner, though that was clearly the intention of the publication with black and white replicas facing von Hoftsen's full-color originals. Overall still a Very Good and sound copy. Unaccountably scarce in retail and institutions, with only one holding found, at Brigham Young University, as of October 2024.
