New York: The Century Co., 1926. First Edition. Octavo (19 cm); 466pp. Eight (8) illus. throughout, including frontis, collated complete. Burnt orange cloth bound boards with black stamping in publisher's illustrated dust jacket. Jacket scuffed torn, chipped, rubbed, and creased with toning to margins and most of tears at margins and joints. Spine discolored but legible and toned verso shows previous owner repair with tape to spine. Boards generally dust soiled, rubbed, and shelfworn with bumping to corners and spine ends. One stain to back cover at fore-edge margin. Edges dust soiled and lightly scratched with embossed owner name to first free endsheet and half-title. Pages show some damp staining and toning with light spots of soiling to some pages, but overall relatively clean. A Very Good copy in a Good only dust jacket.
