Nurnberg [Nuremburg]: Johann Leonhard Schrag, 1830. Revised Edition. Octavo (23 cm); xxviii; 466pp+4 fold-out copper plates, collated complete. Boards half bound in leather and brown marbled paper with gilt decoration and titling to spine with red leather label. All edges stained red with black flecking. Boards worn, bumped, and rubbed at extremities and joints with cracking to middle of spine. Generally scuffed with marbled paper chipping. Missing first free endsheet. Previous author name in pen to title page and pencil to first pastedown, otherwise pages clean with expected light foxing. Fold-out plates relatively clean with foxing and minor toning to margins and joints. A Very Good example of the mathematics and physical geography of the natural world, noted as a revised version in the preface by the author, originally published in 1828.
