Octavo (22 cm); 183pp. Boards in oatmeal and orange cloth with black and orange stamping to spine, wrapped in intact pictorial jacket ($3.95). Orange top stain and fore-edge deckled. Jacket rubbed and bumped at margins with minor creases and closed tears, with light soiling to front panel. Spine sunned and verso offset from boards. Board corners and spine ends bumped and rubbed with minor dust soiling to margins. Pages clean. A Very Good or better copy in a Very Good jacket.
Signed by Garfield at title page. Having written his first book at 18, this mid-career novel was printed while he was writing his Master's thesis at the University of Arizona.
