Unused pictorial counter display printed in black on white card stock (24x21cm), eight unused overlapping pink packets of Universal Headache Powder mounted to recto, a stiff card paper "Springlock Easel" mounted to rear. Light wear and finger soil, chiefly to verso, paper scar to verso from previously-removed label, else Very Good. Date of publication based on patent information printed on the Springlock Easel, manufactured in Detroit and dated 1912.
Store countertop display offering samples of the Universal Headache Powders "for headache and neuralgia / Will Relieve Sick or Nervous Headache in 15 to 30 min." Printed directions on each packet advise the sufferer to place the powder directly on the tongue and take a swig of cold water. "Heartburn, Sickness or Sourness of the Stomach will be relieved almost instantly."
