Dust jacket toned, bumped, and scratched. Boards bumped; dampstain at rear panel. Binding sound. Textblock, endsheets, and interior pages clean. About Very Good copy of this early Leibovitz monograph. Signed, dated, and inscribed by the photographer at full title page. At the half-title page, Leibovitz has inked her (rather large) footprints.
Inscription reads, “Congratulations Ethan / Love is all we need. / Love, Anna-Lou / P.S. Thank you for being a true inspiration.” (Anna-Lou is the photographer’s birthname.) Former bookseller’s cataloging identifies Ethan as Ethan Russell, noted rock n’ roll photographer. While it is somewhat common for the photographer to stamp her palmprint when signing books, her feet are much less common.
