Jacket rubbed at margins, damp staining to rear top edge, sunned at spine, with mild soiling, chipping, and toning overall. Verso and joints foxed. Board margins and spine toned, bumped, and rubbed with minor damp staining to rear top edge. Light finger smudge to title page and minor spot of soiling to second half-title page and facing verso, and previous bookseller pencil to ffep, otherwise interior clean. A Very Good copy in a Good or better jacket of one of Updike's most popular works.
