General wrinkling, smallish triangular loss at top right-hand corner, closed tear at top edge, old pen and orange pencil annotation to image (presumably in McDarrah's hand); Good only.
Rubberstamp on verso dated Mar 8, 1959, together with McDarrah's copyright sticker dated 1984. This photograph would have been taken as part of a series that McDarrah shot to illustrate Elias Wilentz's 1960 anthology "The Beat Scene." While this photograph was not used in the collection, the photograph of Tuli Kupferberg which adorns p. [66] was taken on the same stretch of the same block.
