[Medellín, Colombia]: Imprenta Municipal Medellin, 1946. First Edition. Octavo (21cm); 165pp; three (3) woodcut illust. Stapled with illustrated card wrappers. Extremities soiled, rubbed and creased with toning overall and damp staining to covers as well as some page edges. Brief pen and pencil markings on covers and loss to head and tail of spine, though title remains intact. A Very Good example of the Colombian poet and author's first book.

Signed and inscribed by Saavedra on the title page in 1970. The majority of the interior is clean, with a severe exception made for the first poem "José Antonio Galán," which has portions crossed out in crayon and corrections (?) written in the margins in pen, presumably by Saavedra himself.

We locate only four (4) copies in OCLC, two international and two stateside.
