Hartford, CT: J. H. Eckhardt, 1892. Oblong quarto (20 cm); unpaginated; 35 artotype illust., including frontis, collated complete. Boards in pebbled maroon cloth with gilt stamping and decoration. Green floral endsheets. Board extremities rubbed and gently bumped with superficial scrapes and minor water rippling to back cover. Interior relatively clean with minor foxing to a few pages. Overall a Very Good or better copy.
Includes photographs printed in ink from negatives by local photographer R. S. De Lamater, including one of Mark Twain's home.
