Moderate wear and a few small chips to wrapper margins from handling, vertical fold across Vol. I, no. 1, else Very Good and sound.
First two issues of this scarce World War I periodical produced out of Fort Hancock before later coming out of "Somewhere" overseas after the third number. "We aim to promote the morale of the regiment, to promote a spirit of sympathy between the men of the Regular Army, National Guard, and National Army, and to publish all interesting, cheerful and humorous news that will get by the censor" (Vol. 1, no. 1, "The Why, How and Wherefore of the 'Range Finder'").
According to OCLC (Rutgers and UVA only) "The Range Finder" ran irregularly for six issues.
