Sweet association copy between Ruth Krauss and the Beat poet James Broughton and his growing family. The book was almost certainly a gift to the Broughtons following the birth of their daughter Serena -- a 1964 letter from Krauss congratulating Broughton on the birth of his daughter can be found in his papers at Kent State.
