Part sociological study and part textbook for aspiring elementary and secondary school teachers. The author George Henderson founded the Department of Human Relations at the University of Oklahoma in 1969. He was also the first Black homeowner in Norman as well as the first Black educator in the state to hold an endowed professorship.
