Signed by Matheson, Simmons, Johnson, and Etchison on limitation page at front. Matheson's classic lone survivor novel, often seen as one of the first major reimaginings of the vampire genre after decades of gothic Dracula-style creatures. Basis for the 1964 Vincent Price film The Last Man on Earth, the 1971 Charlton Heston film The Omega Man, and the finally of-the-same-named 2007 Will Smith adaptation, and was of course also an influence across the zombie and survival horror genres that followed.
