Edges gilt. Seaweed-motif light blue endsheets. Boards bumped, worn, and rubbed at extremities and dust soiled overall with darkened spine, though title legible. Previous owner names in pen and rubber stamp to ffep. Interior foxed and toned but overall clean. An Almost Very Good copy.
Filled with in-text and plate illustrations of the insect world. Some are scenes of insects in their habitat and others are microscope images drawn in full detail.
