Second published work of the Irish controversialist and Dean of Achonry Arthur H. Kenney (ca. 1776-1855). The preliminary text includes errata on p. vii as well as three notices on the facing page explaining to the reader that "When page 333 of this work was at the press, the Age of Reason had not appeared in the list of [Thomas] Paine's published works." The page in question relates to the proliferation of Paine Clubs and the reissue of his works in cheap editions with the (erroneous) exception of the "Age of Reason."
