Wrappers rather worn and upper cover starting to separate from bottom comb teeth, margins toned, though contents remain clean and sound. Good or better. Date of publication based on the three-year calendar bound in rear for 1985, 1986, and 1987.

Possibly unrecorded community cookbook issued by the Dallas chapter of the Black sorority first founded at Howard University in 1913 which has grown into over 1000 chapters across the country. The recipes here are heavy on Southern staples, with some cheeky updates like "Second Only to Sex Dessert" (key ingredients: pecans, Philadelphia cream cheese, Cool Whip, bananas); Tex-Mex staples like beef enchiladas; and updated classics like Caribbean meat loaf, Pineapple Peanut Slaw, and Creole Shrimp Gumbo.

This edition not in OCLC as of August 2026, though the 1989 Boston chapter cookbook lists two holdings, at U. Alabama and Harvard.
