A unique work telling of the Incan creation myth as told to the Cusco-born Inca Garcilaso de la Vega by his Uncles, according to the colophon. We find little about the artist and calligrapher, Ann Spencer Dallas, here, though she may have completed this work as a class project at Wesleyan. In their holdings of David Schorr's collection of student's class work, we find a copy of "The Unicorn in the Garden" by James Thurber, handset and printed by Dallas.
