An interesting collection of fairy and folk tales from World War I Allies, including selections from France, Japan, Portugal, and Serbia. Gosse notes at the end of his introduction that Rumania had joined with the eight other allies since they had gone to print, and hopefully they and some other friendly Power would be added to a future edition.
