Accompanied by mimeographed New Year's greetings as well as the original mailing envelope postally used and addressed to a Capt. Robert W. Nix, Jr. stationed at Schofield Barracks, Oahu. Wrappers very lightly toned and soiled, envelope toned and a bit worn, else Very Good and sound.

Compilation of popular newspaper advertisements from the Honolulu-based clothing store Musa-shiya the Shirtmaker, employing racist tropes, slurs, and caricatures leveled against the Asian-American community. The creator of the character George Mellen was awarded first prize for the best specialty shop advertisement three times in a row (see the Honolulu Star Bulletin, June 23, 1927).
