Rare work of metaphysics, spirituality, and natural philosophy from the author of Cosmology. The author here discusses heat, glaciers, trances, worship, and astronomy in a wide-ranging work. He ends with a chapter on "The Colored Man," diving into the debate on differences of skin pigmentation, arguing for the effects of climate over the course millennia. Not found in auction records and we locate only two copies with this imprint in OCLC with holdings at Oberlin and the Library of Congress, the latter part of the Houdini Collection; we find an additional four holdings with Ramsey's name misspelled and no imprint identified.
