Octavo (21cm); publisher's maroon cloth over wood-grained paper-covered boards, gilt-lettered spine; [6],339pp. Ex-Army Library at Camp Blanding, Florida, with extensive interior markings and "Void" rubberstamps to textblock edges, margins heavily rubbed and worn, spine gilt faded, front hinge reinforced with old tape. A Good copy only. Signed by the author on limitation page at head of volume.
Though arguably a shame to have a Faulkner signed limitation run through any library system, this copy notable for the number of times it was borrowed from the Camp Blanding Library no. 3 by men serving during World War II: 41 times between January 1942 and June 1946.
