Sticker produced by the Gay Activists Alliance, a gay and lesbian rights organization formed by dissident members of the Gay Liberation Front, a group which was formed in the aftermath of the Stonewall Riots. Founding member Tom Doerr's design of the lower-case lambda, symbolizing "an exchange of energy," later became a symbol for gay liberation in general.
