Philadelphia: Griggs & Dickinson, 1832. Standing Edition, Greatly Improved. 24mo; 413pp. Contemporary brown leather with black title card to spine. Boards rubbed and bumped along edges and corners, with chipping at head of spine and leather worn away and cracking at bottom exposing gatherings. Split starting to front joint, but binding is still holding. Dampstain affecting front endpapers and first gathering, clearing up by the end of the prefaces. Pages foxed and toned throughout, but legible. A number of gatherings cleanly separated but laid in. Contemporary ownership inscription reads "J.B. Vernon's Book bought in the year 1831, price 25."
