Unclipped jacket flaps were once glued to pastedowns. Large chips missing on all jacket edges; bottom quarter of jacket spine is AWOL. Back surface of jacket is soiled; flaps foxed (probably triggered by previous paste). Jacket now stabilized in mylar. Front and rear endpapers foxed. Previous owner's signature on front pastedown; Brentano's stamp on front free endpaper. Impressions left in front free endpaper by some heavy-handed scrawling, now largely erased. Black cloth binding scuffed.
